DAY 01:
Cochin - Munnar (Tea Garden & Hill station).
Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station and transfer to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors.  Transfer to the hotel. 

Overnight  in Munnar.

 DAY 02:
Munnar
After breakfast, visit to Rajamala- house of  the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars.

Rajamala
(15 km from Munnar) : The Nilgiri tahr, a very rare type of mountain goat (Hemitragas bylocres) , on the verge of extinction. Half the world population of this rare goat is seen in and around Rajamala. The kurinji flowers blooming once in twelve years abound here. The combination of these two rare sights will make any visitor come again and again to this place.

Nyamakad
(10 kms from Munnar) : On the way to Rajamala from Munnar is another paradise of woodlands and waterfalls. This is a popular picnic spot with perennial waterfalls and refreshing greenery.

 DAY 03:
Munnar
After breakfast visit to Top Station. Top Station offers panoramic view of the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. Then to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and wast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. After noon at leisure.

Overnight in Munnar.

 DAY 04:
Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar)
Munnar - Periyar (wild life sanctuary & Spice plantation). Morning proceed to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady. Afternoon at Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat.

Overnight in Thekkady.

 DAY 05 :
Periyar - Kumarakom (Backwaters).
Early morning Drive to Kumarakam. On the shores of the picturesque Vembanad lake - a freshwater lagoon - Kumarakom is a cluster of fishing villages 14 kilometers from Kottayam. The regions specialities are Karimeen, considered the tastiest fish available in Kerala, and fresh Toddy(local wine). The 14 acre bird sanctuary on the eastern shores of the lake with its varied and rich species of birds is another major attraction here. Birds from distant lands like the Siberians Storks migrate here every year.Kumarakom is a cluster of fishing villages 14 kilometers from Kottayam. By noon check in at the resort in Kumarakam.

Later visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a diamond in India's ecological crown, despite being one of the smallest parks in the country. A visit to Kumarakom, nesting on the banks of the Vembanad Lake, will give you the pleasure to meet a variety of migratory birds that cluster in thousands, some from the Himalayas, and some even from the snow-kissed hills of Siberia, a true multicultural avian metropolis. During the rains, some of India's most spectacular avians gather in their finest haunts to court their mates and nest in huge colonies in the trees lining the paths of the sanctuary.

Return to the hotel.  Overnight at the hotel.

 DAY 06 :
Kumarakom – Alleppey 
After breakfast check out from Hotel & transfer to Alleppey . On arrival check into the hotel.

Enjoy Backwaters of Alleppey which is renowned as " Venice of the East" , Alleppey Beach  - the beach is good and quite clean, on the southern side there is a park for children. On northern side the seaview park with boating facilities is also there,  also visit the Crystal Museum . Overnight stay in the hotel.

 DAY 07:
Alleppey - Cochin
After Breakfast Check out from Hotel and  drop them at Cochin  Airport/Railway Station for departure.
